Historic Music Legacy

Chateau Denmark London spans 16 buildings along Denmark Street, famous for hosting The Rolling Stones' first recording and the Sex Pistols' graffiti-covered living space. Each of the 44 rooms and apartments reflects the street's rock-and-roll past, featuring soundproof walls, satellite TV, and city views.

Signature Rooms & Apartments

Rooms range from Superior (21 sqm) with graffiti-detailed beds to Deluxe Apartments (48 sqm) featuring kitchenette bars and psychedelic design. All units include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, minibars, and Artcoustic sound systems. The Two-Bedroom Lofthouse Apartment occupies the building where The Rolling Stones recorded.

Rock-Inspired Dining

Thirteen, the hotel's bar, serves Japanese-inspired plates and cocktails like 'Smoke on the Water' and 'Lady Stardust.' Dial8, an underground private bar, hosts DJ sets and performances. Nearby, Tattu offers modern Chinese cuisine, while The Lower Third blends cocktails with live music.

Central Soho Location

The hotel is 200 meters from Prince Edward Theatre and Dominion Theatre. London City Airport is 12 km away. Denmark Street connects to Soho's live music venues, record shops, and Outernet's immersive LED screens.

Exclusive Guest Perks

Bookings include £50 off at Sixty Ink tattoo studio, priority event access, and a loyalty scheme for in-room bars. Butler service tailors cocktail hour, while long-stay apartments near Hyde Park add convenience.

“The blending of rock history and bold design creates an atmosphere unlike anything else in Soho, a cultural immersion as much as a stay. I found the personalized butler service less a luxury, more a seamless extension of the hotel's attentive character. For those drawn to London's music heritage, this feels like a backstage pass to a vibrant legacy.”

Chateau Denmark is praised for its cool and funky atmosphere and ideally central location near Tottenham Court Road, offering convenient access to Heathrow via the Elizabeth Line. Many guests enjoyed the themed, stylish deluxe rooms, often featuring a comfortable bed, balcony, multiple TVs, a music system, and even an ice maker. The hotel's bar/restaurant, 13Den, is also a highlight, especially the sushi, though some guests have noted minor issues such as subdued lighting in the rooms.

Lovely Stay in Denmark Street

early check-inhelpful butlerdelicious croissantperfect room
i got an early check-in after arriving four hours early, it was a smooth start. tyronne, my butler, was helpful and funny. he brought me a chocolate and butter croissant when he noticed i had not had breakfast. he made sure my room was perfect, even setting up my morning coffee at 13den bar.
the room lighting could be brighter, a small inconvenience for such a stylish place.
Dining
10/10
the 13den bar impressed me a lot, i have allergy issues and staff took great care about it. every dish and cocktail were amazing. the bar had a rich, luxurious vibe making my experience lovely.

the location was very convenient, right above tottenham court road. this gave me easy access to heathrow via the elizabeth line. my room, a superior room, had a spacious balcony (i found this great!). despite being in a busy area, it was surprisingly quiet during the night.
i found the lighting in the room to be too subdued. it created a nice ambiance, but i found it difficult to see things at times. also, i noticed the lighting panels glared when i was in bed (a bit annoying).

Stylish Stay in the Heart

central locationfriendly staffequipped apartmentgreat comfort
I loved the location. It was central with convenient access to everything. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The townhouse apartment featured wonderful equipment and great comfort. Tattu restaurant and thirteen bar provided a great meal with cocktails.
The hotel requested a deposit upon arrival. After checking out, they deducted money from that deposit as 'tips' without prior authorization, which left me feeling disappointed.
Rooms
9/10
The room had a cool design with soap of amazing fragrance. Tv and minibar provided entertainment, with the setup creating a wonderful, relaxing space. The hotel room had quiet surroundings.

the apartment was exactly as the photos suggested. the location for the theatre district and china town was fantastic. i found a huge variety of drinks stocked in my personal bar.
the room was very cold because of bad window insulation. i could hear the street noise. the toilet was also very cold as there was no heating there.
